· Place your outdoor fireplace on a wide and clear open space. Make sure that there are no plants or trees or overhanging vines or branches that might just catch fire. You also have to keep at least 3 feet away from the fire to make sure that you don't catch fire too.

· Never use your outdoor fireplace indoors. Common sense would tell you that the designers of such a fireplace have specifically intended the product for safe use outdoors.
